My work place is now the Pinocchio of internships i.e. it has become a REAL JOB! Can you believe it? I’m something like a “production assistant” but I prefer to refer to myself as the “Director of Assistance.” Maybe one day I’ll even have an “Assistant to Assistance” or something equally fancy!

But really it’s nice to imagine the days of sandwich-making-slavery and grocery-checking are far behind me. I’d like to think I’ve become suddenly grown up and professional, but really it’s not true. Immature work antics and my tendency to say the “wrong thing” at the “wrong time” really loudly persist indefinitely it seems.

Proof:

Not that you would guess from my pictures,
but things are insan-o busy with our upcoming exhibition HACK THE CITY, which opens next week. A lot of the artists are already showing up and workshops are going and it’s gonna be soooooo cooooooool.

In other news: I have resolved my library fines, so hopefully I won’t be going to hell or whatever happens when you leave those be. Last weekend I went to the Forbidden Fruit festival (but only one day because I party like i’m 50) and saw Andrew Bird, Beirut, Liars, Wilco (still bad) & Chromatics (really good).

But dearest friends (that bother to read to the bottom of the post,) fear not. With job and income settled I won’t be going anywhere before September. So all that “booking ticket” nonsense on Facebook was just…idle threats. Sorry guys. You probably wouldn’t love me if I wasn’t crazy.
